Yes! The free plan includes 3 invoices per month and unlimited estimates. Perfect for occasional invoicing or trying the app.
Invoices are requests for payment with "Due Date" and track Sent/Paid status. Estimates (quotes) show pricing with "Valid Until" dates and don't count toward your monthly quota—they're unlimited even on the free plan.
When you reach 3 invoices on the Free plan, you'll be prompted to upgrade to Pro for unlimited invoices. You can still view existing invoices, create estimates, and manage clients.
Absolutely. Create invoices, add clients, and manage your business anywhere. Everything syncs automatically when you're back online.
Yes! Upload your logo, choose custom accent colours, and set default invoice terms during setup.
Yes. Toggle between English and French for each invoice. Perfect for serving Quebec clients or any bilingual customers.
Yes! When a client approves your estimate, simply tap "Convert to Invoice" and it becomes a billable invoice with all details carried over.
Go to Settings > Business Profile > Logo. You can upload an image from your photo library or take a new photo. Recommended size is 512x512 pixels.
100% accurate for 2025 rates. Cadig is updated for all provincial tax changes, including Nova Scotia's HST reduction to 14% in April 2025.
Every invoice includes all fields required by the Canada Revenue Agency: Business Number, legal name, tax breakdown by type, sequential invoice numbering, and payment terms.

Cadig automatically applies GST (5%) and QST (9.975%) correctly. QST is calculated on the subtotal before GST, exactly as required by Revenu Québec.

Currently, Cadig stores data locally on your device. Cloud sync across multiple devices is coming in a future update.
The app itself is under 50MB. Your data (invoices, clients, logos) typically uses 10-100MB depending on usage.
You can edit draft invoices anytime. For sent invoices, we recommend creating a new invoice or credit note to maintain accurate records for CRA compliance.
Open the invoice and tap the status indicator at the top. Select "Paid" and optionally add the payment date.
Yes! Go to Settings > Invoice Defaults to set custom payment terms (e.g., "Net 30 days"), late payment fees, and thank you messages.
Discounts can be added as negative line items. Provincial taxes are calculated automatically, but you can add additional fees as custom line items.
No limits! Save unlimited clients and products on both Free and Pro plans.
Currently, clients must be added manually. Bulk import via CSV is planned for a future update.
The dashboard shows all outstanding invoices. Filter by "Sent" or "Overdue" to see which clients you need to follow up with.
